Apple to discuss education, offer free hands-on workshops on Tuesday, November 27

Apple will visit campus on Tuesday, November 27 to discuss their education initiatives and offer hands-on workshops at the Watt Family Innovation Center.
Want to learn about the future of education and technology? Clemson students, staff and faculty are invited to learn about Apple’s coding, creating and mobile initiatives and receive free hands-on instruction from Apple representatives on Tuesday, November 27 at the Watt Family Innovation Center.
The event is presented by Clemson University’s Big Tent Digital Literacy Initiative.
Apple representatives will spend the day on campus to first share a message of mobility and innovation, and then follow with hands-on iPad sessions to explore free tools and resources from Apple designed to 1) help teach iOS app development and 2) allow all students to explore, communicate, and create in new and powerful ways. Visitors will leave the events motivated to create an innovative learning environment that prepares students with the skills to be successful in the world they’ll graduate into.
Registration is not required in the morning, but those wishing to attend the afternoon workshop sessions can sign up in person during the morning at the Watt Family Innovation Center.
