The Office of Information Security has launched a new Cybersecurity website.
You can access it by choosing the new main menu option on CCIT’s website or by navigating to https://ccit.clemson.edu/cybersecurity.
This new resource was designed to provide the Clemson community with a single user-friendly portal for all things relating to cybersecurity.
Information is organized into six sections: About, Awareness & Training, Cybersecurity Alerts, How To (help topics and services), IT Policies & Procedures, and Cybersecurity Operations Center.
Examples of pages and topics you’ll find include:
- Cybersecurity Alerts affecting campus
- Security Awareness Training
- How to report a Security Incident
- Setting up DUO: two-factor authentication
- Best Practices for Public Wi-Fi
- Securing your devices
- How to protect your data
- Reporting lost/stolen computing devices
- Secure Data Storage options
- …and much more!
Clemson University’s Office of Information Security is committed to protecting the privacy of its students, alumni, faculty, and staff, as well as protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. To support these goals, the CCIT Office of Information Security promotes awareness through education to assist with understanding, recognizing and implementing security best practices.
Pages in the previous Training section have been integrated into Services and Support sections, searchable using the box at the top of the page.
