Individual Licenses

Vendor SAS Institute

SAS created JMP in 1989 to empower scientists and engineers to explore data visually. Since then, JMP has grown from a single product into a family of statistical discovery tools, each one tailored to meet specific needs. SAS software is visual, interactive, comprehensive and extensible.

There is no license server for JMP but a license file. JMP licenses expire at the end of each August. The JMP installers are updated each year with the new license. To renew your license you can either: obtain a new copy of JMP from, uninstall JMP, and reinstall with the new, downloaded copy or manually obtain the version- and hardware-specific SID (license) files from the Documentation folder in the JMP directory on the Software Repository using the instructions below.

License Information

Our license for JMP was not renewed after 2022, so no seats are currently available.
