Adobe Flash End of Life — December 31, 2020

Adobe will stop distributing and updating Flash Player after December 31, 2020. Flash is used to view multimedia content in web browsers and mobile devices. Approaching more than 20 years of use, Flash has become vulnerable to bugs and security deficencies.
Clemson University has been moving away from Flash in its applications and resources over the past several years. After December 31, 2020, personal use of Flash will pose significant security risks, especially to university devices and networks.
All users should remove Flash at their earliest convenience. If you have received a prompt to uninstall Flash from your device, please accept and let the program uninstall itself. If you would like to remove Flash yourself, details about uninstalling can be found on Adobe’s website for Windows and Mac: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows or Uninstall Flash Player | Mac OS
Please contact CCIT Support if you have any questions about uninstalling Flash or if you have an application that will need to continue using Flash.
