CCIT introduces new system status page

Are you tired of receiving CCIT emails about routine maintenance and minor incidents? CCIT listened to your feedback and is proud to announce a new IT Status Page at status.ccit.clemson.edu, which will eliminate those emails and allows users to view the status of Clemson University systems at a glance.
The new system status page offers current information about the status of Clemson University systems like iROAR, Canvas, the wireless network and many others. Service interruptions or emergency maintenance will be posted to the page with updates as CCIT repairs the affected system.
You may also subscribe to notifications by clicking the “Subscribe” button at the top of the page, letting you know immediately about service interruptions. You can choose to receive email or text alerts, as well the ability to receive notifications about all systems or only certain ones you want. This will replace the old Service Notification System (SNS), and you will need to sign up again if you previously used SNS.
The site uses stoplight-style indicators, with green representing fully operational systems, yellow representing a partial outage or degraded performance and red representing a major outage. A wrench icon will appear when a system is undergoing maintenance. When a system is not operating normally, you can click on the system to learn more about performance details and maintenance updates.
If you encounter a possible outage or degradation in services, visit the Status Page first. If you’re experiencing problems not listed on the page, let us know at ITHELP@clemson.edu or 864-656-3494.
