Clemson Visualization accepting applications for undergraduate research program

Clemson Visualization is seeking application’s for this summer’s “REU: Research Experience for Undergraduates in Collaborative Data Visualization Applications” program. REU provides undergraduates the opportunity to work with research/science collaborators, visualization mentors and fellow students to learn more about visualization and the role it plays in discovery and analysis. Research areas include: computer science, genetics and biochemistry, geophysics, sociology, molecular modeling and simulation, inorganic chemistry, social media, parks recreation tourism management, biological sciences and digital humanities.
In addition to the exposure to cutting edge research, students selected to participate will receive a travel stipend for one round trip to and from Clemson, a housing allowance, a bi-weekly stipend to cover living expenses and access to research faculty and cyberinfrastructure resources to help facilitate their success in the program.
