As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, students will have a unique opportunity to learn more about the critical role that Cybersecurity plays at Clemson. On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) will host a drop-in open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for students interested in learning more about Cybersecurity at Clemson.

This open house will allow students to gain invaluable insights into the critical role the CSOC plays in detecting, monitoring, and fixing cybersecurity issues that Clemson faces every day. CSOC staff will show off their state-of-the-art facility, showcasing real-time threat monitoring, incident response operations, and their arsenal of security tools.

Students can also learn from experts about what it takes to begin a Cybersecurity career, including opportunities for internships in the CSOC, where Clemson students can take the theory they learn in class and apply it in real-world situations to help kickstart their career.
