Though nearly everyone at Clemson University has become familiar with remote learning, both students and instructors should make sure they’re comfortable before final exams and planning for the Spring semester.

Students can head into their exams knowing their technology will function properly by enrolling in the Test Your Tech Canvas course. Take practice tests in Respondus Monitor, Respondus LockDown Browser and Remote Proctor now to ensure compatibility. The course also features tips to improving internet stability to minimize possible issues while testing.

Clemson Online also offers a number of resources for students, including tips for online success, software guides and instructional videos.

Instructors should give their students plenty of advance notice about the platform and type of exam they plan to give.

Clemson Online is available to help instructors if they have any questions about administering exams. The Faculty Resource Center in Canvas contains information about best practices for online testing, as well remote proctoring information and video tutorials.

Clemson Online will also offer a spring preparation workshop on December 2, as well as in-person classroom tours with hybrid blended learning best practices on January 4-5. Visit the Clemson Online blogs to learn more.

For any questions about technology at Clemson, contact CCIT by calling/texting (864) 656-3494 or visiting support.clemson.edu. If you contact CCIT while you’re taking your exam, please have your course name and number ready.
