The Office of Information Security (OIS) can provide in-person Cybersecurity training. The training can cover security best practices and review current threats, or it can be customized to cover topics that are geared towards a department or organization on campus.

Topics that could be covered:

• How to detect phishing emails
• Proper handling of confidential information
• University and personal use of multi-factor authentication
• Working remotely using a Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Including Cybersecurity training in a staff meeting or other event is an excellent way to supplement the annual information security awareness training requirement.
