Gurobi Optimizer

Vendor Gurobi

Gurobi Optimizer allows users to state their toughest business problems as mathematical models, and then automatically considers billions or even trillions of possible solutions to find the best one. Our solver can be used as both a decision-making assistant, to help guide the choices of a skilled expert, or as a fully automated tool to make decisions with no human intervention.

The solvers in the Gurobi Optimizer were designed from the ground up to exploit modern architectures and multi-core processors, using the most advanced implementations of the latest algorithms. It includes the following solvers:

  • linear programming solver (LP)
  • mixed-integer linear programming solver (MILP)
  • mixed-integer quadratic programming solver (MIQP)
  • quadratic programming solver (QP)
  • quadratically constrained programming solver (QCP)
  • mixed-integer quadratically constrained programming solver (MIQCP)
