Install Media - How to Access ArcGIS

Installing On Windows

  • Option 1: Students can download and install CCIT Software Center here. ArcGIS will be available in the list of installable applications once CCIT Software Center is installed and has initialized. Note: The initialization process can take some time and will continue in the background once CCIT Software Center is launched. Applications will show up in the list of available software as this background initialization proceeds.
  • Option 2: All users can open Windows Explorer (My Computer) and copy \\software.clemson.edu\software\ESRI into the address bar. If prompted for a username and password, try "campus\username" (no quotes; note the backslash), where username is your Clemson University username. Use your Clemson password. Once connected, check the Documentation folder for additional installation information, like license server names and port numbers. Note: If you are off campus, you will have to be logged into VPN before you will be able to connect to the Software Repository.
