This product is generally distributed as a standalone site license. This means any Clemson user may use this software.

Versions of this software are available on: Windows, Mac OS, the web. You may have to check with the vendor about the availability of other versions.

The current licenses of Read & Write Gold are owned by Student Accessibility Services.

Purchasing Read and Write Gold

Licenses for this software are available without purchase if you meet any license restrictions.

Install Media - How to Access Read and Write Gold

Direct access to the media for this software on the Software Repository is limited to IT support personnel. If you need to request this software be installed on your computer, you can visit the nearest helpdesk (the CCIT Helpdesk on the 2nd floor of Cooper Library or the Engineering Support Desk in 142 Freeman Hall), contact your local IT support, or email ithelp@clemson.edu.

Installing On Windows

  • Option 1: Students can download and install Company Portal here. Read and Write Gold will be available in the list of installable applications once Company Portal is installed and has initialized. Note: The initialization process can take some time and will continue in the background once Company Portal is launched. Applications will show up in the list of available software as this background initialization proceeds.

Installing On Mac OS

  • Option 1: Download and run the Mac Software Installer here (click the "Mac Software" button on the left-hand side of the page). Read and Write Gold will be in the list of available software in the installer.
