eCognition

eCognition is the original object-based image analysis software. The eCognition Suite offers three different components which can be used stand-alone or in combination to solve even the most challenging image analysis tasks.
eCognition Developer is a powerful development environment for object-based image analysis. It is used in earth sciences to develop rule sets (or applications for eCognition Architect) for the automatic analysis of remote sensing data.
eCognition Server software provides a processing environment for batch execution of image analysis jobs.
License Information
This product is generally distributed as a floating network license. This means there may be a limited number of seats of this software available and that users must connect to an on-campus license server to use the software.
Versions of this software are available on: Windows, Linux. You may have to check with the vendor about the availability of other versions.
License server: license7.clemson.edu Port: 28001
If you cannot enter license server name and port separately in the application, you may need to enter them in the format: port@server.
Purchasing eCognition
Licenses for this software are available without purchase if you meet any license restrictions.
