Stata statistical software is a complete, integrated statistical software package that provides everything you need for data analysis, data management, and graphics. Stata is not sold in modules, which means you get everything you need in one package.
Stata is available in Sirrine Hall computer labs as part of a 40-seat license. To inquire about reserving the Sirrine hall lab, contact the College of Business.
License Information
This product is generally distributed as a keyed standalone license. This means users will have to obtain a key or serial number either from IT or the vendor before installing and using the software.
Versions of this software are available on: Windows. You may have to check with the vendor about the availability of other versions.
Other Restrictions
This software is available in Sirrine Hall computer labs only or for individual purchase. Only Econ is allowed to usePurchasing STATA

Six-month student licenses are available for as little as $45.
To order a physical copy for pick-up at the University, contact StataCorp directly: 1-800-782-8272 (Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 Central Time).

Install Media - How to Access STATA
Direct access to the media for this software on the Software Repository is limited to IT support personnel. If you need to request this software be installed on your computer, you can visit the nearest helpdesk (the CCIT Helpdesk on the 2nd floor of Cooper Library or the Engineering Support Desk in 142 Freeman Hall), contact your local IT support, or email ithelp@clemson.edu.
