Gaussian 09

Gaussian 09 is the latest in the Gaussian series of programs. It provides state-of-the-art capabilities for electronic structure modeling. Gaussian 09 is licensed for a wide variety of computer systems. All versions of Gaussian 09 contain every scientific/modeling feature, and none imposes any artificial limitations on calculations other than your computing resources and patience.

License Information

This product is generally distributed as a standalone site license. This means any Clemson user may use this software.

Versions of this software are available on: Linux, the Palmetto Cluster. You may have to check with the vendor about the availability of other versions.

This license is owned by the Chemical Engineering department. It is a perpetual site license but only covers the Linux version of Gaussian 09 and Linda and the Windows version of GaussView.

Other Restrictions

This software may only be installed/used by students and faculty in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences.

Licenses for this software are available without purchase if you meet any license restrictions.

Inquire with your department or local IT support about access to install media for this title. You can also send an email to ithelp@clemson.edu.

Direct access to the media for this software on the Software Repository is limited to IT support personnel. If you need to request this software be installed on your computer, you can visit the nearest helpdesk (the CCIT Helpdesk on the 2nd floor of Cooper Library or the Engineering Support Desk in 142 Freeman Hall), contact your local IT support, or email ithelp@clemson.edu.
