License Information

This product is generally distributed as a floating network license. This means there may be a limited number of seats of this software available and that users must connect to an on-campus license server to use the software.

Versions of this software are available on: Windows. You may have to check with the vendor about the availability of other versions.

Other Restrictions

This software may only be installed/used by students and faculty in the College of Engineering and Science.

License server: license4.clemson.edu   Port: 28021

If you cannot enter license server name and port separately in the application, you may need to enter them in the format: port@server.

Licenses for this software are available without purchase if you meet any license restrictions.

Installing On Windows

• Option 1: All users can open Windows Explorer (My Computer) and copy \\software.clemson.edu\software\SolidWorks into the address bar. If prompted for a username and password, try "campus\username" (no quotes; note the backslash), where username is your Clemson University username. Use your Clemson password. Once connected, check the Documentation folder for additional installation information, like license server names and port numbers. Note: If you are off campus, you will have to be logged into VPN before you will be able to connect to the Software Repository.
