Clemson offers users the choice of Google Apps for Education or Office 365 as an email client for their username@clemson.edu account. Current faculty and staff are encouraged to use Microsoft Outlook in the Office 365 suite, however, newly enrolled students in Spring 2024-beyond will no longer be able to access Gmail accounts.

Gmail (Google Workspace)

Google Workspace (formerly Google Apps for Education) is a Google-powered cloud service. The service used to offer unlimited storage for each account.

Office 365

Exchange accounts have been migrated to Office 365.  This new platform offers new features through the power of cloud technology.  Key benefits include:

• Increased mailbox size to 50 GB
• On-the-go access to your documents and the Office suites.
• Scheduling made simple.
