The Web Hosting service includes web application hosting within various environments as well as the installation and maintenance of web servers. Web application hosting provides security, reliability, and recoverability and reduces risks associated with server down time, file corruption, hacker attacks and slow performance.

Key Features

Services include:

– Web servers – Apache

– SFTP access

– Daily backups

– SSL certificates & capabilities

– URL redirects

– Basic HTML page hosting

– Administering web accessible applications of database front-ends

– Maintaining the server configuration and multiple security controls, including directory level security.

– Providing designated customer staff with access to customer’s website code on the development server.

Servers hosted in the CCIT Data Center are backed up to disk and stored securely both on and off- site. The CCIT Data Center is designed to function on a 24 hour, 7 day a week, 365 days per year basis.

Web pages including sensitive information or those using any form of authentication will require Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Content and/or application development assistance are not included.
