Phone services at Clemson are available for individual devices, but also for group features such as conference calling.

Automated Attendant

Clemson Telecommunications offers Automated Attendant which answers calls to a department's primary telephone number. Callers hear a greeting that directs them to automatically route their call to a specific person or group.

Clemson Telecommunications offers conference calling which allows multiple parties either using a phone built for calling out on multiple lines or by using a "meet me" or conferencing line where multiple parties can call in.

CU Online Phonebook Directory Updates

The Clemson University Phonebook provides faculty, staff, and students the ability to update their information. To update your record, you must have your userid and password to access your information. The information obtained for the on-line directory originally comes from your Human Resources information.

Telephone services gives support for current users with phones on campus but also provides setup support and feature modification.

Uniform Call Distribution (UCD)

Clemson Telecommunications offers UCD where there are groups regularly receiving a large quantity of incoming calls, which anyone in the group can handle. Based on standard dial tone, the UCD system automatically delivers each incoming call to the next available line through rotation of lines in a group.
